DESIGN SCHEMES

The design fees proposed below include all time required to create the necessary schemes, including:

  • assessment and agreement of design brief

  • all research relating to the design schemes to be proposed

  • proposed furniture layouts (drawn to scale)

  • digital concept boards and elevations, showing window treatments, furniture, lighting, hardware and accessories

  • design intention drawings for fitted joinery, as required

  • samples boxes containing solutions for paint colours, fabrics and flooring

  • up to two rounds of design revisions

  • schedule of items to be purchased, paint lists and itemised room-by-room budget

INVESTMENT

The investment for all items detailed in this proposal is £xxxx

The procurement stage is charged separately at 12 per cent of the value of orders (e.g. fabrics, fittings etc) and tradespeople, and covers the execution and implementation of the designs, including co-ordinating any necessary tradespeople, ordering and deliveries. When added to orders placed on the client’s behalf, this percentage fee will always be applied to the best trade price (after VAT) available to me at the time of ordering.

I take on a limited number of clients at a time, ensuring you get my full focus. I help you to maintain the momentum of your project, as well as ensuring quality sources for materials, so the designs for your new space are implemented in an organised and timely way.

In addition:

My fees are not subject to VAT, and there are no additional charges for samples, travel (within reason) or printing

  • A deposit of £1,250 is required to secure your place in my work schedule, payable by bank transfer. The remainder of the fee is payable in pre-agreed monthly instalments

  • If you decide to commission me, I provide a guarantee that the costs of my services will not exceed the above estimate (provided the brief does not deviate from the work that is agreed at the outset)

  • Any additional work that goes beyond the scope of this proposal will be quoted for separately
